Your spiritual experience begins in Kathmandu; a city filled with ancient temples and deep spiritual energy. You will visit sacred sites like Pashupatinath Temple and Boudhanath Stupa, where prayers, rituals, and peaceful surroundings create a calming atmosphere. Guided meditation and yoga sessions will help you relax and prepare for the journey ahead.The retreat continues to the beautiful city of Pokhara, known for its tranquil environment and breathtaking Himalayan views. Here, you will enjoy peaceful mornings with meditation overlooking the mountains, as well as mindful walks along the serene lakeside. The calm energy of Pokhara makes it an ideal place for reflection and inner peace.

Your journey then takes you to Lumbini, the sacred birthplace of Lord Buddha. Visiting the holy Maya Devi Temple and surrounding monasteries offers a deeply spiritual and peaceful experience. Meditation in this holy land provides a unique sense of connection and tranquility.To deepen your spiritual practice, the retreat includes time in a peaceful monastery or retreat center, where you will engage in guided meditation, silence, and mindfulness sessions led by experienced practitioners. This allows you to disconnect from daily stress and focus fully on your inner journey.

The final part of the retreat is spent in Nagarkot, a serene hill station offering stunning Himalayan sunrise and sunset views. Surrounded by nature, you will continue your yoga and meditation practices while reflecting on your journey in a calm and refreshing environment.

Itinerary

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed by the team of Himaland Adventure and transferred to your hotel, where after check-in and some rest, a short briefing about the retreat program will be provided, followed by a gentle evening meditation session to help you relax and settle into the peaceful atmosphere of Nepal.

After breakfast, you will visit sacred sites including Pashupatinath Temple and Boudhanath Stupa, where you can observe rituals, prayers, and spiritual practices, and later return for a guided yoga and meditation session that helps deepen your awareness and calm your mind.

Travel to Nagarkot to enjoy panoramic Himalayan sunrise views. Engage in meditation and yoga amidst the peaceful natural surroundings.

Wake up early for Himalayan sunrise meditation. Spend the day in yoga, mindful walking, and reflection while soaking in the fresh mountain air and tranquil landscape.

Drive to Pokhara, a serene lakeside city surrounded by the Annapurna range. Enjoy sunset meditation by Phewa Lake and evening mindfulness sessions.

    Retreat Package – Body detoxification therapies like; Ayurveda massage, hot stone therapy, steam bath, sauna + retreat activities like; singing bowl, yoga, taichi, meditation, spiritual discourse and Bodhisatva blessing rituals as per the program.
